Apostolos Papadopoulos

Mr. Apostolos Papadopoulos holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bonn (Germany) and  his PhD in Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) from the same University specializing in peptide chemistry and synthesis of new active amino acids. He has worked in Greece, in the pharmaceutical industry from 1991 to 1997 as an analyst in the laboratories of quality control of pharmaceuticals & cosmetics.  He taught as a Laboratory Associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens from 1996 to 2018 at the Departments of Physics & Chemistry , Oenology  and  Aesthetics & Cosmetology. From 1999 to 2006 he collaborated as a collaborator in the laboratory of the Department of Radiopharmaceuticals of the Institute of Nuclear and Radiological Sciences of NCSR Demokritos on issues of organic synthesis and at the Institute of Chemical Biology of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, on issues of transfer of bioactive compounds to biological membranes. From 2006 to 2019 he worked at the National Organization for Medicines with previous experience as an analyst in quality control, in the laboratory of cosmetics & Medical Devices, as an evaluator in the evaluation of new pharmaceutical products for licensing and as an inspector in the Marketing Control Department of the Inspection Directorate.  Since 10/2019 he is a faculty member in the position of Lecturer
