Learning outcomes

The holder of the Postgraduate Diploma  (M.Sc.) will be able to :

· Develops combinations of aesthetic and cosmetic methods and biomedical technology methods for the treatment of aesthetic problems.

· Recognize the limitations that may exist for the application of aesthetic and cosmetic methods in cases of dermatopathies and cooperate with the relevant medical specialty.

· Deepen the understanding of the mechanism of action of new cosmetic ingredients that will emerge with the development of science and relate mechanisms of action of bioactive substances to their efficacy.

· Design and develop cosmetic products aimed at different population groups (infants, etc.) and in various cosmetic-technical forms.

· Solves problems encountered during development, transition to pilot production and production of cosmetic products.

· Apply and develop methods of instrumental analysis and quality control of cosmetic products.

· Organise, conduct and compare studies on the efficacy and support of cosmetic product claims in volunteers and corresponding in vitro studies on the efficacy of cosmetic ingredients

· Evaluate cosmetic product safety studies.

· Be a member of a scientific team and support interdisciplinary collaboration.

· Participate in research projects
