Examinations-Students Assessment

Grading is in the 0.0 – 10.0 scale. Grades are given with accuracy of one decimal digit. Passing grade is 5.0 for all modules.

Student progress and performance may be assessed by

  1. Essays during the course, presentation of the essay
  2. Final written exams at the end of each semester
  3. Thesis:  a) Research project in the industry after agreement with the industry, in the Laboratory of Chemistry-Biochemistry-Cosmetic Science-UNIWA, aesthetics laboratories, hospitals or b) literature research

Prior to submission of the Thesis  for examination, the final thesis text is checked for plagiarism  by the supervisor using the UNIWA-endorsed software tool (Turnitin® or other).
